Why we are launching Partner Fleet

Cody and I landed in partnerships through different journeys - Kenny from chapters in customer success, engineering, and product, and Cody from sales and sales leadership. Ultimately, we both fell in love with the idea that partnerships is the rising tide that raises all boats.
Partner Fleet’s goal is to provide the tools Partnership Teams need to build their fleet and get on the rising tide.
Why Partnerships?
The Partnerships function is in a renaissance moment. As customers increasingly consider the ability for their vendors to connect and play well with the rest of their ecosystem - including their existing business systems or the agencies they work with - companies are starting to understand that partnerships are no longer a siloed growth channel, but rather, an essential element influencing buyers at every stage. The relationship based, wine & dine channel partnerships are being replaced with best practices, playbooks, and partnership enablement tools, exactly how sales, marketing, customer success, and product management evolved over the last few decades.
The Problem to Solve
Partnerships has earned a seat at the table, but is still an adolescent. While other teams have a plethora of tools to help them crush their jobs, Partnership teams have very few and they are forced to beg, borrow, and steal from other teams. When the Partnership Team’s nagging is successful, companies generally end up building a host of proprietary tools to help partnership teams do their jobs well, taking time and resources from other teams along the way.
Our Belief
We believe Partnership Teams should be self-sufficient and have direct access to the tools they need to stand up and run world class partnership programs. We also believe that companies should no longer have to accept the opportunity cost of pulling other teams away from their work to help the Partnerships Team; let the engineers help partnerships by building great product and APIs, and let the marketers build and execute top-shelf co-marketing playbooks.
How We’re Doing It
Partner Fleet is on a mission to accelerate Partnership’s transition from an art to a science.
We’re starting by helping partner teams showcase, promote, and grow their programs, partners, and ultimately ROI. We do that by enabling them with:
- Microsites: Show prospective partners you’re open for business and allow them to apply
- Marketplace (Web & In-App): Promote your partners to customers, drive them leads
- Partner Portal: Decrease time to value and level up your partner experience
